Pizza without the Bread

Cauliflower is a very versatile. It is packed full of antioxidants. It benefits our hearts and brains. Cauliflower can be used as a substitute of many high carb foods. I make mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes or buffalo cauliflower instead of buffalo chips.

Cauliflower pizza is very easy to make. You take 1 head of cauliflower and cut it up into small pieces and then steam it until it is soft (about 10 minutes). Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees F. Line baking pan with parchment paper.

Stir 1/2 cup of Italian cheese and 1 egg, 1 tsp of chopped garlic, 1/4 a cup of fresh parsley and the cauliflower together. Press the ingredients onto parchment paper into a pizza crust shape. Bake for 15 minutes and then add your favorite ingredients.
