Absolutley! I am definitely an “ice cream-aholic”. The creamy, sweet taste ends a meal perfectly for me. I heard about this banana ice cream and made myself try it. I love it! It was easy to make and can be unique depending on what you add to it. Remember, you can keep it simple with just bananas. There isn’t too many desserts out there with one ingredient but this one could be.
I took 4 bananas and cut them up into slices and placed them into a glass container. I placed that container in the freezer for one hour. I took out the frozen bananas and chopped and creamed them in my blender. I added dark chocolate chips to it once it was blended. It served 4 and was a prefect sweet addition to our meal.
What did it add to our body though. Bananas are a great source of potassium but also a decent source of fiber. One banana has 110 calories but compare that to one bowl of ice cream from the following brands:
